Goniopora corals, also known as "flowerpot corals" or "daisy corals," are large polyp stony (LPS) corals known for their striking colours of daisy-like polyps. They come in various colors, including reds,yellows,orange, pinks, creams, tans, and greys. While visually striking, Goniopora are difficult to keep for the average aquarist, especially the beginner. This should not be one of your first corals.
Reef keeping has advanced a lot from the old days so with the correct supplementation of minerals it is not beyond the average reefer.
