Montipora digitata purple berry

 Montipora digitata purple berry is a medium thick branching SPS coral of the genus Montipora. More purple throughout the coral with blue polyps. Montiporas are generally a more forgiving sps than acroporas and come in a variety of forms, plating, encrusting, and branching and found in almost every colour. 

These can be considered as the beginners first sps coral. Many do appreciate higher nutrient levels than acroporas.
