Mushroom Coral Indonesian fuzzy neon green Rhodactis

Indonesian fuzzy Mushroom corals are a soft coral closely related to anemones, found throughout the Indo-Pacific. They are ideal for beginners new to the hobby as easy to care for. Other Rhodactis corals come in a huge array of colours, from green, blue, orange and reds and all sorts of combinations.

This Indonesian Rhodactis  has a fuzzy appearance to its tentacles and as with other rhodactis is capable of enclosing around food particles.

Most Mushroom corals prefer lower light levels in the blue spectrum but this is one of those exceptions. It enjoys medium to bright light and a moderate water flow. They prefer a higher nutrient aquarium in which they receive, along with the light, most of their energy requirements.

They can sting sps corals and cause tissue regression and are liable to be stung by more aggressive LPS, When they will generally move away from them. Under stress or to much light or flow they will detach from their rock.
