Xenia Pulse coral white is a genus of photosynthetic soft marine coral in the family Xeniidae. They resemble small mushrooms with feathered arms coming out from the top that end in many-fingered "hands". It can be quite mesmerising with It's unique pulsing action. It is a unique coral because of its ability to use its "hands" to "pulse" or push water away from the colony in a constant, grabbing motion. This white variety is from the Red sea and requires higher light to maintain its white colour. An easy coral but requires iodine supplements and can fail in low Kh. Can easily take over a tank.
